With the Premier League title race coming to a crescendo, neither Liverpool or Manchester City are in a position to slip up.
Both have set dizzyingly high standards throughout the league campaign - in fact, no top two have achieved more points between them at this stage of a season since the Premier League began in 1992 - but who will emerge triumphant on May 12?
Former England and Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher takes us through his match-by-match predictions for the rest of the season and reveals his expected winner.
Liverpool
April 21: Cardiff (A)
Cardiff’s victory over Brighton makes this a tougher assignment, but I believe Liverpool have too much quality.
Win
April 26: Huddersfield (H)
It is inconceivable Liverpool’s title hopes will end to the Premier League’s bottom club. I can only see one outcome.
Win
May 4: Newcastle (A)
From a Liverpool perspective, the most worrying game. Rafael Benitez will do no favours for his former club, packing his defence.
Draw
May 12: Wolves (H)
Wolves are dangerous counter-attacking opponents. Liverpool are unbeaten for two seasons at home. Expect them to be too strong in the final game.
Win
Manchester City
April 20: Tottenham (H)
After midweek this is a huge mental test for City. The country is waiting to see how they react. I anticipate they will respond with victory.
Win
April 24: Manchester United (A)
Since it was rearranged due to City’s cup commitments, this is the fixture which stands out as where the title race could swing. To win at Old Trafford is tough, regardless of United’s form.
Draw
April 28: Burnley (A)
Burnley are back to the best. Remember what Burnley did to Tottenham? This is a demanding fixture after a tough week and City drew there last season.
Draw
May 4: Leicester (H)
Leicester are dangerous and Brendan Rodgers’ presence adds another potential twist given he narrowly lost the title to City in 2014. I see City coming through this one.
Win
May 12: Brighton (A)
Brighton are in freefall. I fear for Chris Hughton’s side. For their sake, I hope they do not need a point from this game to guarantee staying up.
Win
